Early Snowfall Brings Hope Of Another Great Ski Season

Already the snow is fallen once again across the alps and after last years great snow many would be forgiven for now looking to a similar season ahead. Already above 2,000m the snow levels are good with snow expected down to 800m overnight. I guess at the moment it is too early to count our chickens but it certainly not a bad start so fingers crossed it wil continue.

In terms of snow depths, no official stats are available but based on the forecast and the heavy falls that have fallen, above mid-stations it would be unresonable to expect upwards of 50-60cm and after the weekends expected falls another 15-30cm again.
